Scholarley (Mendeley Client)

WARNING: Development release. Please read the below CAREFULLY to properly set your expectations. Scholarley is almost ready for a 1.0 release now; and so should be fairly stable; but some bugs yet remain.

Mendeley is a free and convenient application for managing academic papers (see: http://www.mendeley.com/). Scholarley is an initial development release of an Android client for Mendeley; using Mendeley's Open API. Scholarley is developed with tablets in mind; but a mobile version is bundled with it that should be fairly well optimised for smaller screens.

As this is a development release; please do not rate this application poorly just because some part of it does not work; or even because it crashes. It *will* work; in the future :).

Current Features:
- Authenticate with Mendeley Open API using OAuth.
- Show document list sorted alphabetically by Author, Title or Citation Key.
- Show documents by folder.
- Show documents by group.
- Show authors (with deduplication; where possible)
- Filter documents by tags.
- View document details (almost complete)
- Nice asynchronous loading + notifications
- Download documents from Mendeley and open them in an external pdf reader (ezPDF is highly recommended); including the option to download them all in one go (takes a while, obviously).
- Offline sync for everything (PDF files, once downloaded, are stored on the device; but must be downloaded manually initially).
- Quickly find your documents using inbuilt filters.

Possible Future Features:
- Allow update of files with annotations to Mendeley's servers
- Add documents to Mendeley directly from arXiv or Mendeley Online

If Scholarley doesn't quite satisfy you, do consider the alternative applications of Droideley or Referey.
